Bronwen Seager believes in empowering and helping clients to achieve their potential in any way she can. She enjoys simplifying complex problems to ensure the law is accessible to all. Her focus areas include Data Protection and IT Law. Bronwen is a Tech lawyer and is passionate about the relationship between the two fields.

Bronwen Seager believes that the law should enable clients to utilise technology, and the changes it brings, to their benefit and not their detriment. “Technology for good” is beneficial for everyone. She enjoys balancing existing and developing legislation with new technology to ensure they work in harmony.

Bronwen Seager loves being outdoors and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and sailing. She shares her love of the outdoors with others by volunteering her time as an adult leader for Scouts South Africa

  • Advising and guiding clients on how to implement an effective data protection compliance programme to protect and secure personal data
  • Advising and guiding clients on the lawful use of electronic signatures
  • Providing practical legal advice and opinions about the application of the law to a client’s unique context and giving recommendations
  • Using plain legal language to effectively communicate legal information to clients’ key stakeholders through simple plain and clear legal language. Contracts and legal documents should be drafted for the reader, not a Judge who may never read it
