Most organisations (like companies) have or need policies and procedures. They are important documents because they ensure quality, consistent outcomes, manage risk, ensure compliance and ensure continuity. To name a few of the benefits. The problem is that 90% of policies in the world are simply horrible. We believe this needs to change and our mission is to rid the world of bad policies because they don’t serve their organisations. Bad policies break down trust and set the wrong culture for an organisation. We can help you get your policies and procedures right. We can help you have good policies that ensure your organisation receives the benefits they bring.

You can read more about the different types of policies, the characteristics of good ones, why you need a good policy framework, and governance. It is also important to appreciate the difference between a policy, procedure, standard and guideline.

Our experience

We have read, reviewed, drafted, enforced, compared thousands of policies over a period of about twenty years. We’ve read books on the topic and debated it amoungst ourselves and given webinars on the topic.

We obviously not subject matter experts on everything. We have good experience with data protection, IT, information management, HR, contract management and information security policies. Not so much with other subject matters like finance or anti bribery and corruption. You need to know a topic well to write a good policy on it. Often, the subject matter experts in your organisation are best places to draft policies and procudures.

Our Clients

We have done work for clients in various countries across the globe, including multinationals. They include banks, telcos, IT companies, manufacturers and insurers.
