Most organisations are already using AI. Very few have a policy to govern it. Without an AI Governance Policy, your organisation is exposed to legal, reputational, and operational risk. Governing AI responsibly is no longer optional but a business imperative. The governing body must set the strategy for AI governance, which must be recorded in an AI Governance Policy. Your policy is your organisation’s commitment to using AI responsibly. It sets out your guiding principles in governing AI and outlines the accountability structure, roles, responsibilities, and oversight mechanisms for the use of AI tools and systems in your organisation. Effective AI Governance programmes start with a policy.

Your AI governance policy is the foundational governance document from which your AI governance strategy, Acceptable Use of AI Policy, and all related AI governance instruments flow.

Many organisations confuse an AI Governance Policy with an AI Ethics Framework, an AI Policy, an AI Acceptable Use Policy or a National AI Policy, but these are not the same. Each serves a distinct function. An AI ethics framework sets your principles and values. An AI Acceptable Use Policy governs how staff may use AI tools day-to-day. Your AI Governance Policy is the overarching document that ties everything together. Getting this distinction right is the foundation of effective AI governance.

Your AI Governance Policy should be a standalone, practical document that gives your organisation clear direction on how to use AI responsibly.

In this webinar, you will learn what an AI Governance Policy is, what it must contain, and how to implement it in practice. You will leave with practical tips, real-world examples, and tools, including a ready-to-use AI Governance Policy template you can immediately adapt for your organisation.

Join us to ensure your organisation has an AI Governance Policy that actually works.
