The King Code includes a code for IT governance (data, information and technology governance). We can help you apply it to your organisation. The fifth version of the King Code has been published, and, like previous versions, it addresses IT governance (among many other topics). There are some interesting changes, especially in how it addresses the governance of emerging technologies (such as AI and the metaverse). It also separates IT governance into two subtopics: data and information governance, and technology governance.

Improve your organisation’s IT governance by applying the King Code.

The King Code also addresses governance of risk and compliance. It would be prudent to consider the King Code in implementing a GRC programme (for example, a data protection or AI governance programme). Not doing so will have several disadvantages in reporting on governance in South Africa, and if challenged in a court.

Join us for a webinar on this important topic.
