Uroš Nikolić gained deep knowledge of the law by completing an LLB from the Faculty of Law at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia. He is committed to continuous learning and is building knowledge in cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technology. He isn’t a legal practitioner in South Africa, but he has a good grounding in universal legal principles across jurisdictions.

Outside of work, Uroš enjoys trying different coffees, exploring new places, and spending time with close friends. He is quietly curious by nature, with interests that range from information security and technology to good coffee and thoughtful conversation.

At Michalsons, Uroš supports the team in delivering practical legal solutions to clients on cybersecurity compliance, privacy, and AI governance matters. He assists with legal and regulatory research, drafting documents, preparing materials, and supporting ongoing projects. Working in this environment, he delivers practical governance and compliance support that clients can rely on.

Before joining Michalsons, Uroš gained practical hands-on experience by completing internships across public institutions, academic legal initiatives, and private-sector organisations, including a non-governmental foundation and a national airline. He has also volunteered at local cybersecurity and technology conferences, which have broadened his understanding of current developments in these areas. This means that he brings a practical, cross-sector understanding of how organisations manage legal, regulatory, and technological risk.
