Nicci loves to take in a sunrise, long walks with friends, family and her dog Morris. She sometimes sits back to watch her plants grow! The life of a working mother of teenagers is very busy and while she takes delight in it – she also relishes the quiet moments in between.
Nicci is passionate about managing organisations. Her post-graduate diploma in organisation and management in 1995 was a precursor to what her career would become. She is a master of time management and delegation. Her passion for elegant and efficient systems means that she embraces technology and uses it in this digital law firm.
She has a unique ability to separate the wheat from the chaff, ensuring that the organisation focuses on the right things at the right time.
Her 25 years of business experience means that she can problem-solve and identify solutions to help clients and support the Michalsons attorneys. She loves to help people and organisations fulfil their potential and beyond. At Michalsons, Nicci is responsible for culture, strategy, finance, marketing, human capital and general operations.
Nicci’s career began at Investec. She was an assistant private banker and quickly progressed to the management team in the Private Bank. Over 10 years she successfully managed sales and marketing teams. Nicci is always passionate about the client’s experience. She was involved in operations, product development and managed various large projects.
After taking a break to mother her children, she returned to work with FunDza a non-profit organisation that worked to get teenagers from under-resourced communities reading, using technology as a point of access. She built the brand, raised funding and contributed to many ideas to support FunDza’s success in impacting 1000’s of lives positively. In 2015 she joined Michalsons.
