Sarah left Michalsons in 2023 after working here for just over ten years.

Sarah tries to create order in a chaotic world. She enjoys solving her clients’ problems by giving insightful and practical legal advice. She specialises in data protection, company law and intellectual property.

She will be your partner in your legal journey and help you through what is typically seen as a complex process. She will cut through all the extras and tell you what is practically possible regardless of whether she is helping you through your data protection journey, your IT contract or promotional competition.

Sarah is a mother to twin boys, so is used to juggling and resolving disputes. She strongly believes that prioritising exercise is good for both the mind and body and makes time for running and swimming and boxing.

Sarah joined Michalsons in 2012.
She is currently providing many practical legal services, including:

  • Drafting Memorandums of Incorporation and Shareholders Agreements;
  • Drafting and advising clients on their intellectual property rights;
  • Advising on the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPI);
  • Helping marketers and brand managers manage promotional competitions legally;
  • Drafting simple, plain language agreements and converting documents to plain language;
  • Drafting and negotiating IT contracts;
  • Writing opinions on various subjects advising clients on the risks and advising the best way forward.
