Webinar | Actions to take first for trustworthy AI | Members only
1st February 2024 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
We’re about to start working through the four steps of the trustworthy AI programme lifecycle (learn, plan, leverage and sustain). There is a lot to cover and work through and it will take time. In this webinar, we pause to ask and consider important questions.
- Is there anything you can do first?
- What should your organisation prioritise?
- What action should you take first?
Are you chasing a deadline to be ready (or compliant) by a certain date? For example, has your governing body set a date for you to be compliant? For example, are you chasing a deadline a Parliament has set to comply with a specific law? The deadline for the EU AI Act will probably be in early 2026. Parliaments are enacting new AI regulations all the time and each will have a new deadline.
Some organisations who have already done a lot revisit this list from time to time to check that they have done these important things.
In this module on actions to take first for AI, we will list the things (about 15) we believe you should do first, ranked in order of priority. Many organisations or people have published lists of what you should do first. We have read those lists and, based on our experience, we have created our list. Of course, the list will be different for each organisation and you must work out the priority for your specific organisation.
Outcomes
- Know what most people prioritise by looking at various lists and learning from others.
- Work out what you are going to do first by making a list of things to do first and assigning them to specific people.
- Know where to focus your efforts by prioritising those actions.
Panel
